North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust is an NHS Foundation Trust which runs the University Hospital of North Tees, Stockton-on-Tees and the University Hospital of Hartlepool and clinics at Peterlee Community Hospital, in County Durham, England.

Proposals for the reorganization of hospitals in the region has been discussed since the early 1990-ies. The proposal to replace the two existing hospitals with a new building in the town of Wynyard is under active consideration. and services are transferred between sites. In October 2013, emergency medical services and critical care from Hartlepool University hospital of North tees, Stockton. Services remaining in Hartlepool are concentrated in the Central building. Plans had been suspended in October 2014 due to the lack of "political support at the highest level" ahead of Mays General election. Former Stockton South MP James Wharton opposed the plans of the new hospital, arguing that 50 million pounds should be invested in North tees. In the Hartlepool mail campaigning services restored to the University hospital of the city.

In July 2019 the merger with South tees hospitals NHS Foundation trust is discussed.
